Child and Youth with Support Needs

Our Child and Youth with Support Needs (CYSN) program is for parents with children between the ages of 6 and 12 with special needs who have been previously diagnosed and qualify for CYSN services through the Ministry of Children and Family Development (MCFD).

We can support your family with things like:

• Sourcing funding and grants for your child with autism or other support needs
• Helping you understand and go through the process of creating an Individualized Education Plan for your child
• Creating a personal service plan specifically for your child's needs
• Finding people who can give you a break from taking care of your child, or who can provide interventions to help your child
• Educational opportunities geared towards supporting children with disabilities
• Opportunities to meet and talk to other parents who have similar experiences

Program hours are flexible, and we offer support in different places based on what works best for you. It could be at inclusion's Cranberry Children's Center, your home, or other community facilities.

Referrals can be made by the following:

• Public health nurse
• Midwife
