Infant Development Program

 

The Infant Development Program (IDP) is for Children birth to 3 years of age.

Do you have any questions or concerns about your infant or child’s development?

The Infant Development Program is a family centered, early intervention service that provides an opportunity for parents to work with experts to help their baby reach developmental milestones.

  • Learn ways to encourage your baby’s development
  • Meet other parents
  • Discuss parenting and child development issues
  • Enjoy parents and baby playgroup
  • Take advantage of our book and toy lending library

IDP consultants work in partnership with parent and community professionals to assist in developing skills and approaches that enable families to enhance their child’s development.

The Infant Development Program is funded through the Ministry of Child and Family Development.

Who is it for? Families and Babies from birth to 3 years of age who are at risk of or who already have a delay in development.

Where is it located? The Cranberry Child Development and Family Resource Centre- 6831 Artaban Street. Consultants will meet with you in your home or in our Family Room according to your preference.

How do I access? Referrals to this service can be made by self referral or by any other professional resource.

Our consultants are happy to respond to any questions or concerns you may have about your child’s development.
