“Treat everyone with respect and kindness. Period. No exceptions.”-Kiana Tom
On Wednesday May 16th Conscious Kindness Day will be sweeping the nation! Powell River & District United Way have teamed up with the Compassion Project students at Brooks High School to encourage everyone in PR to join in Conscious Kindness Day. inclusion Powell River is proud to participate in the Conscious Kindness Day event. This initiative fits perfectly in with inclusion PR’s value statement of, “Fostering a safe, inclusive community where everyone belongs.” More than a mere tagline, this value statement is the foundation that inclusion PR was built on and continues to emulate each and every day. Be kind to yourself and to each other, not just on May 16, but every day. You’ll be amazed at how good you feel and how the people around you are. A simple act of kindness is a small pebble in the pond, but it will have a ripple effect that has no logical end.
“No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted.”-Aesop
